Is this the Best Rank Tracker for SEO?

What's going on, guys? Today, I’m excited to show you the new rank tracker feature that I've been building. It’s currently in beta, but guess what? It’s included in all of the Clicks.so plans!

For just $24.99 a month, you get this rank tracker as part of your all-in-one SEO tool. It’s crazy if you ask me—definitely the best bang for your buck in the SEO tool market!

How the Rank Tracker Works

Let’s dive in and see how this works! We’re going to hit Add Keywords here. You’ll notice how many credits we have available and how often our keywords are updating.

Adding Keywords

Let’s add some keywords. For example, I’m interested in affordable SEO tools—I believe I’m ranking for that. I’m also going to add one of my brand keywords, Clicks.so and another keyword that I’m not ranking for, like "France".

You can add these keywords in bulk or one at a time, whichever you prefer.

Affordable SEO Data

Stop overpaying for SEO data - Everything you need to get more clicks to your website.

Target Domain Selection

Now, let’s talk about the target domain. You can either add a full domain or a specific URL. If I add a domain, it will find any URL connected to subdomains, subdirectories, or anything else tied to your domain that might be ranking for those keywords.

If you type in a specific URL, you’ll get all the details for that particular page. For this demo, I’ll type in Clicks.so.

Country, Language, and Device Settings

For country and language, I’m good for now, and the device setting is also fine. I plan to add a city option with different postal codes soon, which will be great for local SEO.

However, for this beta version, we’re just going to stick with country and language, as it’s currently breaking the site due to over 200,000 locations.

Fetching Data

Now, I’m going to hit Add Keywords and as you can see, Clicks is now fetching all the data. This might take about 10-15 seconds, so I’ll talk you through it as we wait.

And there it is—the first one coming in! I’m ranking first for “Clicks.so,” which is great—no parasite SEO on my own keyword. I’m also not ranking for “France,” which is expected, and for “affordable SEO tools,” I’m ranking with my blog post.

All of that happened really quickly!

Additional Details for Keywords

The coolest aspect of this tool is the extra details available for the specific URLs ranking for those keywords. I’ve got to fix the front end here, but we have all the information we just saw above, including:

- When our keyword will next update (every 48 hours depending on your plan).
- Current ranking positions.
- Ranking history.

Tracking Progress Over Time

This is where things get really interesting. We can add all the different keywords that we're already ranking for, and over time, we’ll gather data that shows how our rankings fluctuate based on changes we make to our pages.

We’ll know exactly what’s working and what isn’t right away!

Real-World Example: Keyword Tracking

Let me show you another account—one that has been gathering some more data. Here’s an example keyword, “parasiteseo” for the domain parasiteseo.com. This new website was built by Charles and James, and I’ve been tracking it for a week to see how they’re doing.

They’re on the front page, but their rankings have been going up and down. This makes sense, as it’s a pretty competitive keyword with a lot of fluctuations. It’s super interesting to see how they’re performing!

Analyzing Brand Keywords

Here’s another cool feature of the Clicks.so rank tracker: let’s look at a brand keyword, “IKEA,” for the ikea.com domain.

Clicks.so has found the four URLs currently ranking for those brand terms. The fascinating part here is that we can play around with different ranking URLs associated with this keyword.

For instance, if I want to focus on just the main route for the US side of IKEA’s website, I can select that and hover over to see how it’s been ranking. It clearly shows the number one position, which is really solid, and it’s intriguing to see how some URLs pop in and out of the rankings.

Conclusion and Feedback

So, that’s basically it, guys! The rank tracker is still in beta, so there are more features coming. If you’re a paying Clicks.so customer, I’d love your feedback. There’s going to be a link here for a forum where you can share your thoughts—what you like, what you don’t like, and any changes you’d like to see.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know in the comments.

Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll see you guys in the next one!
